Gym Talk: Freshmen
Thursday, December 15, 2011

Hey Centenary fans! This is your fantastic freshmen coming at you live in Magale Library! We started off this week with our second intra-squad and the results were awesome!  Our team is not only coming together as a family but our gymnastics scores are phenomenal!

We haven't competed in our first meet but our scores have already improved from last year's. All of us freshmen agree that we are headed down the right path to a great season and accomplishing our goals as a team. This week we have been working on getting stronger in our endurance, cardio, and leg strengthening.  We have been working out to the video "Insanity," and it really is insane!

We are so excited to see what this season has in store for us. Each and every day, every Lady on the team is giving 110%, and working diligently to achieve our goals.  With these two weeks that we have at home we will still continue to work hard, even when we work out on our own, so that when we come back from break it will be like we never missed a beat and will be ready to rock it out in Michigan!

Our first semester here at Centenary has been a big adjustment. We have all been trying to balance school, gymnastics and life, while trying to figure out different ways to study and prepare for tests. Our fantastic coach has done anything and everything she can to help us in every way both inside and outside of the gym. Everything can only get better from here as we wind down from the first semester and prepare for the second; which will start to become crazy since we will be on the road many weekends for competition.

Being that this is our first year in college, we don't really know what to expect for this upcoming season, but we are so stoked and ready to take on anything that comes our way! Of course we know with this amazing team, nothing but excellence will be the outcome. That's all until next time! WIT (Whatever It Takes)!

Love, NoEasy, N-drizzle, Syl-dawg, Stizzle, Lizzle, and Laurizzle.

Also, we would like to give a shout out to Mr. Hadd! Thank you for keeping up with the gym talks and being a great fan! We love you!
