Ladies Hoops to Host Food Drive to Support Community

SHREVEPORT-In the spirit of the holiday season, the Centenary women's basketball team will partner with the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana on Monday, December 19 to host a canned food drive during its 7 pm contest against McNeese State in the Gold Dome.

Fans are encouraged to bring 3 canned foods for FREE ADMISSION into the game.

All foods donated will directly support the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana down the street from Centenary's campus.

The Let's Hoop. Let's Help. Initiative allows those who are more fortunate to make a conscious contribution to their surrounding community and the Ladies basketball team is making the effort that much easier for fans of Centenary Basketball.

The Ladies and head coach Kristen Davis continue to showcase a strong sense of community pride and now have a chance to help out during the holiday season.

Come out to the Gold Dome on Monday, Dec. 19 at 7 pm to show your support for Centenary and let's fill up the bins and boxes full of canned foods.
