Ladies "Think Pink" Game
Wednesday, February 8, 2012

Centenary Ladies basketball will host LeTourneau University Thursday, February 9th at 5:30 pm in the Gold Dome.  Thursday’s game has been designated as a WBCA Pink Zone ® game.  The women’s basketball team is partnering with ZTA, a campus sorority, to promote breast cancer awareness.

Members of ZTA will run time out games as well as halftime activities for the fans.  Everyone is encouraged to wear pink in support of a finding a cure for breast cancer.

The Centenary Ladies basketball team will also have an honorary coach for the game.  The Ladies will present a signed pink basketball to a breast cancer survivor, Ms. Vikki Sharp.  Ms. Vikki is continuing some treatment and doing very well.  She is the mother of the Ladies junior point guard Vashni Sharp Moore.  “We are very excited to have Ms. Vikki as an honorary coach for Thursday’s game.  She is always at home games cheering us on and supporting the team.  She is truly apart of our basketball family and we are all thankful she is doing so well” said head coach Kristen Davis.

Come out Thursday evening to support your Ladies and help raise breast cancer awareness.
