CLINTON, MISS. – After nearly a month hiatus for both Centenary tennis teams, the Ladies and Gents will journey to Mississippi College to open American Southwest Conference play March 8 at 2 p.m.

Both squads are looking for their first wins of the year. The men (0-1) have competed in just one match, a 0-7 loss to Texas-Arlington Feb. 10.

The Ladies (0-2) dropped their first two, both home matches. In the season opener Feb. 11, Grambling beat Centenary 9-0 before the Ladies dropped a slim 4-5 margin to LSU-S five days later.

Centenary was scheduled to host the Texas-Dallas Friday in men's and women's action, but both matches have been postponed. A makeup date has not been determined. The Ladies and Gents will be back on the courts March 10 in Clarksville, Ark., to take on the University of the Ozarks at noon.
