CHICAGO, Ill. – Centenary posted its fourth-best score of the season Saturday night as the Ladies closed the Midwest Independent Conference Championships in fourth place, posting a 191.300.

Illinois State won the five-team event with a 194.800, edging host University of Illinois-Chicago at 194.725. Texas Women’s finished third at 194.050, Centenary fourth and Southeast Missouri fifth (191.225).

The Ladies got five top-10 finishes at the meet, led by Robyn Price’s fourth-place finish in the all-around competition. Price tallied a 38.450 with the four events, just ahead of teammate Jessica Lieblich’s 38.275, which was fifth.

Stephanie Wright turned in a fifth-place performance on the uneven bars at 9.775, just shy of her season-high 9.8 mark just two weeks ago at the Gold Dome. Meg Crowley’s 9.775 mark on the floor exercise was earned her a sixth-place finish. She was just half of a point behind Apollonia Barrientos (Illinois State) and Kristin Edwards (Texas Women’s), each recording a 9.825.

Amanda Holt matched her season and career high 9.750 on the vault, good enough for seventh in the 30-member field.

The Ladies recorded three of their top four scores in the last three weeks and look to continue their hot streak heading into the USAG Collegiate Nationals April 12-14.
