PINEVILLE, La. – Both Centenary tennis teams will wrap up this year’s slate against Louisiana College Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in American Southwest Conference tennis action.

The Ladies (6-5, 5-1) are coming off their only ASC loss of the year, a 9-0 defeat against UT-Tyler last weekend. The Gents are 5-4 and 4-2 heading into the match as both look for new win streaks heading into next year.

Louisiana College’s men enter Saturday’s contest 2-9 and 1-5 in conference play. The Wildcats snapped a seven-match losing streak April 12 against East Texas Baptist with a 7-2 win, but fell to Ozarks 9-0 a day later. The Lady Cats (2-10, 0-6) ride a 10-match losing streak after winning the first two of the year.

Michael Reeks and Garrett Whipple top the Gents with 6-3 marks in singles play and double up with the same mark as the No. 2 doubles tandem. Katie Cornwell and Olivia West lead the Ladies with 7-3 records. Cornwell has played all 10 matches as the No. 4 seed while West has bounced between the No. 2 (4-1) and No. 3 (3-2) spots.

Lauren Beurlot, Isadora Bickham and Holly Clark are looking to peak the .500 plateau, all entering with 5-5 marks.
