Sharp-Moore named First Team All-SCAC, Warr and Edwards Honorable Mentions

SHERMAN, Texas – The Centenary women’s basketball player Vashni Sharp-Moore was named to the All-SCAC First Team after leading the Ladies in her final season in the Maroon and White, as announced by the conference office on Saturday.

Sharp-Moore, a Shreveport, La., native led the SCAC in scoring with 19.9 points per game. The senior concluded her career with 900-plus points at Centenary. Sharp-Moore scored a game-high 22 points in a 59-57 loss to Dallas - her final contest with the Ladies.

Briana Edwards and Dionecia Warr were both tabbed to the honorable mention team.  Warr finished the season ranked fourth in the conference in scoring with 15.1 points per game and the leader in steals with 2.8 per contest.

Edwards concluded her first campaign with the Ladies as the second leading rebounder in the conference with 9.5 boards per contest. The Shreveport, La., native led the Maroon and White with seven double-doubles on the season.
