Ladies take 8th at Emory-Riddle Eagle Invitational

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Centenary Ladies’ golf team finished 8th at the Emory-Riddle Eagle Invitational with a team score 696. Justine Kemp scored the best for the Maroon and White finishing with the lowest score for a 157 overall.

The Colorado Springs, Colo., native finished tied for 16th after shooting a 78 on the first day of the tournament. She shot a 79 on day two to finish out the event.

Rachel Grinnell added a score of 157 to finish 38th (89, 81), while Sarah Bradshaw tied for 48th (98, 83) and shot 181. Jessica Thigpen posted a score of 188 (94,94) to get 50th.

Centenary returns to the course Sunday, Mar. 24 to host the Hal Sutton Intercollegiate. It’s a three-day event with all rounds beginning at 8 a.m. and will take place at the Golf Club at StoneBridge in Bossier City, La.
