Ladies fourth at first day of Hal Sutton Intercollegiate

BOSSIER CITY, La. – After the first day of the Hal Sutton Intercollegiate, the Centenary Ladies stand in fourth with a score of 362.

Rachel Grinnell shot an 87 on the first day to lead the Ladies. Grinnell is tied for 10th after the first round with Katie Crawford of UT Tyler and Erica Payton of Jackson State.

Jamie Wright shot an 89 to stand in a four-way tie for 16th with Stevie Booker of Jackson State and Taylor and Jordan Sloane of UT Tyler. Justine Kemp was two strokes back of Wright in 20th.

Sarah Bradshaw fired a 95 to land her in a tie for 23rd with Millsaps’ Lauren Barratini with Jessica Thigpen rounding out the Ladies’ in 25th with a score of 97.

Tyler Junior College leads the team standings with a 339. TJC has the top three individual spots with Katharine Bunting leading the way with an 83. Maraea Durie and Lisa Frauenberger are tied for second with an 84.

Final round of the intercollegiate is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. at the Golf Club at Stonebridge.
