Gymnasts receive USAG All-American honors

SHREVEPORT, La. – Members of the Centenary Ladies’ gymnastics team were named USA Gymnastics All-Americans, as announced by the association.

“I am extremely proud of these young ladies. Earning All-American status is a testament to each one of these athletes’ hard work and dedication to the sport of gymnastics and also of their commitment to the team," said head coach Jackie Fain. "They have all represented Centenary with fierceness, tenacity and class."

Senior Meg Crowley and junior Robyn Price received multiple all-American accolades. Crowley was named to the first team on floor exercise and second team on the balance beam. Price received first team nods in all around and a second team honor on the vault.

Seniors Jessica Lieblich, Christy Martinez and freshman Stephanie Strickler also earned all-American laurels. Lieblich was named to the first team on floor exercise while Martinez and Strickler were each placed on the second team on bars.

Crowley, Lieblich and Martinez each garnered USA Gymnastics Academic All-American honors.

The Ladies finished third in the nation at the USA Gymnastics National Championships posting back-to-back, team-high scores of 193.975. Crowley finished third in the nation on floor receiving the bronze medal in the event.
