COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Centenary men’s soccer team was blanked 3-0 at Colorado College to fall to 0-8 overall and 0-3 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contests. The Tigers moved to 3-2-2 and 3-0 in SCAC action.

The Gents faced a stingy Black and Gold defense that allowed just three shots on the afternoon. Rykley Crowe led the way with two attempts with Danny Haar taking the remaining shot.

CC scored its first two goals of the match in the opening 10 minutes. Christian Wulff connected on his first goal of the season off an assist from Ryan Huettel in the sixth minute and just over two minutes later Alec Martinez scored off a pass from Alec Sowers for the two goal lead at the intermission. Caden MacKenzie provided the third goal of the afternoon for the Tigers in the 85th minute of an assist from Sean Parham.

Austin Andrews (0-6) was registered the loss for the Maroon and White allowing both first half goals as Rylan Whan played the second, 45 minutes allowing a goal. The duo combined for four saves against 33 shots taken by the Tigers, including seven on goal.

Ian Horne (3-2-2) picked up his third win of the season with all 90 minutes in goal.

Centenary returns to action on Friday, Sept. 27 as the Gents travel to Trinity. Match time is scheduled for 8 p.m.
