SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Centenary men’s soccer team dropped an 8-0 outing to Trinity University on Friday evening in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference action. Trinity improves to 5-2-1 and 3-1 in the conference while the Gents move to 0-9 and 0-4 in the SCAC.

Austin Andrews tallied a career-high 15 saves in the full, 90 minutes of action. Chris berrios, Rykley Crowe and Clinton Azeez each took shots for the Maroon and White in the contest.

Trinity attempted 47 shots in the outing with 23 coming on goal. Seven Tigers scored in the contest, including two goals from Roberto Camargo.

A trio of goalkeepers saw action for TU with Matt Cardone taking a majority of the time with 45 minutes. Todd Whitiaker played just over 20 minutes with Chad Margotta claiming the final 24.5 minutes in goal.

Centenary returns to action on Sunday, Sept. 29 as the Gents face Southwestern at 3 p.m.
