SHREVEPORT, La. – The Centenary women’s soccer team dropped a 4-0 match on Friday evening at Mayo Field to Texas Lutheran. The Ladies move to 2-8-2 on the season and 0-5 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference action while the Bulldogs improve to 6-4 and 4-1 in league play.

The duo of Sioned Kirkpatrick and Claudia Trevino combined for three of the Black and Gold’s four goals on the night. Kirkpatrick tallied the first two scores – both within the first 10 minutes of the contest – off assists from Trevino. Trevino added her only goal of the night in the 15th minute off a feed from Kirkpatrick.

Taylor Vatuna posted the other goal for the Bulldogs in the 43rd minute – wrapping up all TLU scores in the first 45 minutes of play.

Erica Coker (2-5-1) played a majority of the contest in net for the Ladies garnering nine saves against all the Bulldogs’ scores in the loss. Lauren Cullen also logged time in goal for the Maroon and White.

Erin Rose (6-3) claimed in the win with one save against eight shots.

Carly Slovensky and Traci Lee led the Centenary offensive attack with two shots each.

The Ladies return to action on Sunday, Oct. 6 as they host Schreiner at Noon.
