SHREVEPORT, La. – A Lalo Ramirez goal in the 33rd minute proved the difference as the Centenary men’s soccer team fell 1-0 on Friday evening to Texas Lutheran. The Gents fall to 0-11 and 0-5 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference action while the TLU improves to 6-3 and 3-3 in the conference.

Kellan Klaus paced the Maroon and White’s offensive attack with two shots as Centenary attempted eight on the night.

Rylan Whan (0-2) netted all 90 minutes in goal with nine saves.

The Bulldogs tallied 17 shots in the night with Isaac Lopez and Andrew Welsch leading the way with three shots apiece.

Jonathan Michael (6-1) claimed the win in goal with three saves on the night.

The Gents return to action on Sunday, Oct. 6 as they host Schreiner at 2 p.m.
