SHREVEPORT, La. – After earning its first win of the season last Friday, the Centenary men’s soccer team concludes the 2013 season on Friday, Nov. as the Gents travel to Austin College. Match time is scheduled for 3 p.m.

The Maroon and White look to avenge a 1-0 setback to the Roos from earlier this season at Mayo Field.

Chris Berrios, Cole Davidson and Jeremy Klespis each garnered goals last weekend. Berrios provided the game-winner against UD as Klespis knocked in the first goal of the night in the 2-1 victory. Davidson provided the lone goal in the 3-1 loss to Colorado College on Sunday. Berrios dished out the assist on the Davidson score as Michael Pullano and Zachary Kidder each added assists against the Crusaders.

The trio of goal scorers joins Kellan Klaus as the leaders among the team with two goals each this season. Berrios paces the team with 24 shots taken while Klaus and Davidson each have 20 on the campaign. Berrios and Kidder each have a team-leading two assists this season.

Austin Andrews and Rylan Whan have spent a majority of time in net for the Gents this season. The freshmen sit first and second in every, keeper category on the team this season. Whan ranks among the Southern Collegiate Conference’s leaders in saves with 64 – which is sixth – and fifth in the conference with a 73.6-save percentage. Andrews, who has 59 saves, ranks eighth in the league with a 68.6-save percentage.

Austin College enters the weekend riding a one-game win streak following a 1-0 win over Dallas last weekend – snapping a two-game skid. Andrew Parides and Caleb Walters pace the Roos with two goals each this season. AC’s Andrew Celio sits atop the leaders in the league with 84 saves this season and is fourth in shutouts with five.
