SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Centenary volleyball team fell 3-0 (9-25, 22-25, 8-25) to the University of Dallas at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference. The loss concludes the 2013 season for the Ladies.

Brooke Bahlinger led the Maroon and White with six kills on the day and tied Kadidiatou Diawara for the best attack percentage on the squad (.154). Bahlinger along with Sarah Sumner and Chelsea Petska each tallied 10 digs for the Ladies. Rachel Perkins added a team-best 15 assists in the three sets.

After a tough, opening set, the Ladies rallied back in the second contest leading by as many as five points, 18-13. Centenary gathered eight of its 17 kills in the match during the frame.

UD fought back in the middle set to knot the contest at 19-all and closed the set out winning 12 of the last 16 points in the frame.

Emily Caples led the Blue and White with 14 kills. C.J. Broadbent tallied a double-double for Dallas dished out 29 assists and added 12 digs. Jessie Koster led with 17 digs.

Centenary closes the season with a 5-28 record.
