Brown joins Gents soccer

SHREVEPORT, La. – Centenary men’s soccer coach David Orr announced that Zeke Brown completed the necessary paperwork and deposit with intent to attend Centenary College of Louisiana. Brown joins Centenary from Neville High School in Monroe, La.

"We're very excited to have a great athlete coming from Northeast Louisiana. Zeke is a dual sport athlete and we know that you can't do both soccer and baseball without being a great athlete,” said Orr. “Zeke will bring added speed to the Gent's soccer program along with a great attitude. His presence on the field will be felt immediately and we couldn't be more ready to get him into the action."

A starting defender this season for NHS helped lead the squad to the District II title the last two seasons and the Copa-Acadiana Tournament Championship this season.  Brown is a four-time A/B Honor Roll member and received the Gifted and Talented Art Awards the last three years along with being a recipient of the Neville High School Academic Renaissance Awards.

Brown plans on majoring in Biologyat Centenary.
