SHREVEPORT, La. – Centenary women’s soccer coach David Orr announced that Andrianna Walsh completed the necessary paperwork and deposit with intent to attend Centenary College of Louisiana. Walsh joins Centenary from Plano West Senior High School in Plano, Texas.

“AJ is a phenomenal person, with a great family which I've had the pleasure of knowing for more than a decade. AJ is a proven competitor and good player who will likely come in and compete for a starting spot as a freshman,” said Orr. “The current Ladies players are very excited that AJ has chosen to attend Centenary and join the Ladies squad, as I am equally excited. AJ's athleticism and knowledge of the game will be a huge asset.”

Walsh, a midfielder and defender, helped lead her squads to the Region III U-18 and Lake Highlands Division I Championships this season. She also assisted in guiding her team to the 2011 TAPPS State Playoffs Final Four. Walsh was named to the Plano West High School and Jasper High School Honor Rolls and a member of the the Art Club, French Honor Society and Christian Young Adult Group.

Walsh plans to be major in Biology and Art.
