Men's soccer adds three

SHREVEPORT, La. -- Centenary men’s soccer coach Emmett Rutkowski announced that Seth Vander Hamm, Dillon Rogers and Ivann Amaya completed the necessary paperwork and deposit with intent to attend Centenary College of Louisiana.

Amaya, a native of Huntsville, Texas, is a two-time, all-district performer and was named first team all-region and all-state his senior season. He helped led the HHS to the Brenham Cup crowns in 4A and 5A and was named to the Cup’s All-Tournament Team. He was named Team Offensive MVP and broke the school’s goal record with 16 scores in 21 games his senior season. He plans to major in Business at Centenary.

Rogers, a product of Bossier City, La., played for Bryan George at Benton High School. The second team all-state selection his senior season, Rogers, scored 42 goals – second most in Division II and helped lead BHS to the Bearkat Classic title. The BHS Salutatorian, who plans to major in Business, was also named academic all-state.

Vander Hamm calls Barksdale Air Force Base home. Vander Hamm played for coach Caleb Macias and plans to major in Economics at Centenary.
