Women's golf adds Nidey and Collaro

SHREVEPORT, La. – Centenary women’s golf coach Emlyn Aubrey announced that Haley Nidey and Toni Collaro completed the necessary paperwork and deposit with intent to attend Centenary College of Louisiana. Collaro comes to Centenary from Roselle, Ill., with Nidey hailing from Hallettsville, Texas.

“Recently adding Toni and Haley to my freshman class has really helped solidify our roster for this season and I will look to them to make some strides right away for us,” said Aubrey.

Nidey helped lead Sacred Heart Catholic School to a fourth place finish in the TAPPS 2A State Golf Tournament where she finished 17th overall and second for Sacred Heart. Nidey graduated with honors and received the Presidents Academic and Susa Band Award. Nidey plans to major in Medicine at Centenary.

Collaro played for Thomas Mazzie at Lake Park High School in Roselle, Ill. She plans to major in Speech and Hearing Sciences at Centenary.
