KERRVILLE, Texas – The Centenary women’s soccer team was tripped up on Sunday afternoon as the Ladies (1-7, 0-2 SCAC) dropped a 1-0 overtime decision at Schreiner University in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play.

The outing was third, extra session contest of the season for the Maroon and White and the fourth straight one score affair.

Beth Davis sealed the victory for SU in the 97’ of the contest on her fourth attempt of the game. The Mountaineers attempted six shots in the outing.

Marissa Hughes and Meredith Seale paced the Centenary offensive attack combining for all four of the Ladies’ attempts. The duo each placed one on goal.

Erica Coker fell in the complete game effort in goal with the sophomore registering one save.

Megan Morant claimed the win for SU in goal with a pair of saves.

Centenary returns to action on Friday, Sept. 26 as the Ladies host Dallas. Kick is slated for 7 p.m.
