GymTalk: Megan Frazzini
Tuesday, November 25, 2014

Hi Ladies Gymnastics Fans! This is sophomore, Megan Frazzini, or Z, bringing you the latest news on your favorite Centenary Ladies!

This week has been a great week for the Ladies, but our most exciting news is from our first Intra-squad on Sunday! After having two great practices Friday and Saturday, we were very excited and ready for our mock competition. Before we got to the gym Sunday afternoon, we all did our hair and makeup together and listened to inspirational sports videos! This really got us pumped and ready to compete.

We had an amazing night at our intra-squad and everyone did such a great job! Sophomore A-Scates landed an amazing yurchenko full on vault. It was great seeing all of our Bar Stars put together their routines! Everyone is doing a great job of moving their skills up and putting them in their routines! Senior Sylvia Keiter and freshman Ashley White both had amazing bar routines. On beam all of the Ladies looked sharp, clean and confident. We didn’t count a fall on beam, which means we had 5 Ladies stick their beam routines! Not only did we have a great group of 7 girls compete beam, but there are a few girls who are very close to making beam line ups. Shout out to Megan and Sylvia who had HIT routines! We also had a great night on floor with everyone making their last pass in their floor routine, which is a huge accomplishment! I loved watching all of the new floor routines and I can’t wait for everyone to see them in the Gold Dome for our first meet in January!

I’m so proud of our team and I can’t speak highly enough of how lucky I am to be part of such an amazing group of ladies. Our team this year is so determined and we are ready to have the most amazing season. I loved watching our team come together and work as a unit to make it a successful intra-squad. Everyone on the team had a role, whether they were competing, or helping set up mats for each routine. We are so excited for season and our first meet, which is 51 days away!

Thank you for all of your love and support for the Ladies and check back next week for a new Gym Talk!

Love,

Z
