Traffic around Centenary Blvd. on Sunday
Sunday, February 15, 2015

Fans visiting Centenary College of Louisiana on Sunday, Feb. 15,

Sunday afternoon the Highland Parade will take place and part of its route includes Centenary Blvd. At approximately 2pm, Shreveport Police will be shutting down Centenary Blvd in preparation for the parade. This means that the entrances on the West side of campus, the main entrance and the entrance by the admissions building, will be inaccessible for the duration of the parade. If you are planning on coming on campus or leaving that afternoon, we recommend you park your vehicle along the East side of campus or across the street at the Gold Dome.

Shreveport Police will also be shutting down part of Kings Hwy as the parade crosses it in multiple locations. If you are planning to attend either the parade or one of our sporting events that day, we recommend you take the I-20 exit to Market St. (which turns into Youree) rather than attempting to take the Kings Hwy exit from I-49.

Thank you,

Centenary DPS
