SHREVEPORT, La. – Centenary volleyball coach Caley Carter announced that Hailey Lawson completed the necessary paperwork and deposit with intent to attend Centenary College of Louisiana. Lawson joins the Ladies from Rains High School in Emory, Texas.

"Hailey is a very humble and hard working player who will add even more depth to our outside hitting position,” said Cater. “She's a smart player that reads the game well which will make our passing and defense more competitive also. She will be an excellent student at Centenary College and we are happy to announce her joining the 2015 roster."

Lawson is a two-time All-East Texas, all-district and academic all-district performer for Kim Talkington. A team captain her senior season, she was named Offensive Player of the Year and District MVP Hitter. She helped lead RHS to back-to-back all-district titles. She was a member of the National Honor Society her final three seasons and a member of the A/B Honor Roll all four years.
