SHREVEPORT, La. – The Centenary gymnastics team hosts nationally-ranked Louisiana State University and New Hampshire this weekend at the Gold Dome. The Ladies welcome the Tigers and Wildcats for a tri-meet on Friday, March 13 at 7 p.m. with UNH returning on Sunday, March 15 at 2 p.m.

Tickets will be sold at the gates on the upper level of the Gold Dome an hour and half prior to the meets. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children. Admission is free to spectators wearing Centenary Maroon to the event.

“This weekend is going to be an exciting weekend for Centenary gymnastics; not only is it our alumni meet Friday night, but we are hosting the second ranked LSU Tigers along with the University of New Hampshire, said head coach Jackie Fain. “Sunday afternoon will be our senior day where we will honor our two graduating seniors; Sylvia Keiter and Natalie Humbert.”

Friday’s meet is the first time the Ladies have hosted a member of the Southeastern Conference since the University of Kentucky on March 17, 2012. LSU makes its first appearance in the Gold Dome since March 19, 2010. It marks the first trip to Centenary for New Hampshire.

“We have just finished a long road stretch; competing at six away meets in the last four weeks. The team is really pumped to be home and is excited to perform this weekend. I think we are ready to peak as we enter into our last two weeks of the regular season,” stated Fain. “We have had some ups and downs throughout the year as we have tried to increase our depth by adding new difficulty and new faces into the line-ups. It seems we are settled in now and I am looking forward to some outstanding performances this week.”

Centenary posted a season-high score of 191.675 two weekends ago at the University of Alaska-Anchorage with nine Ladies recording career-highs in the meet. This past weekend at Southeast Missouri State, Noel Stubbs claimed the vault championship with a career-high score of 9.750.

The event will streamed live for those unable to attend the match at
