SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Centenary College women’s soccer (1-7, 0-4 Southern Collegiate Athletic) freshman goalie Madeline  Herr broke the 10 year-old school record for saves in a game with 22, but the Ladies lost to #2 Trinity (7-0-1, 0-4 SCAC) 11-0 Friday night, September 25, in San Antonio, Texas.

Herr grabbed 22 saves on 33 shots faced in the game, besting the 19 saves by Ali Hilsher (October 21, 2005, Southern Utah) and Kate Donnelly (October 16, 2009, Oakland).

Julia Camp for the Tigers opened the scoring in the third minute. She added a pair of goals in the second half to finish with a hat trick for the game. Trinity outshot Centenary 61-1.

The Ladies return to action Sunday, September 27, at Schreiner at noon.
