Gents Basketball to offer Black Friday Clinic

SHREVEPORT, La. – Nothing for the kids to do on Black Friday, November 27? All children aged 6-14 are invited to the Gold Dome for a clinic conducted by the Centenary men’s basketball staff.

The clinic runs from 9 a.m.-noon, costs just $30 and will feature a shooting with coaches, both group and individual ball handling work, a session on shooting, and more!

Please make checks payable to Centenary Basketball Camp. Checks can be mailed to Centenary Men’s Basketball Camp, 2911 Centenary Boulevard, Shreveport, LA 71104.

The 2014-15 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference champions, the Gents were picked to defend their title for the 2015-16 season. The Maroon and White return the 2015 Conference Player and Newcomer (Freshman) of the Year, being the first team in NCAA men’s basketball history to boast both awards for three consecutive seasons.

Centenary returns to action this weekend for an early feast when both the Ladies and Gents host the SAA/SCAC Challenge. The women and men battle Millsaps Saturday at 3 and 7 p.m., respectively. Both teams take on Hendrix Sunday at 1 and 5 p.m.
