Gymnastics Falls at Wisconsin-Whitewater

WHITEWATER, Wis. – The Ladies could not overcome a tough first rotation on bars as Centenary gymnastics fell to Wisconsin-Whitewater 188.375-184.300 Friday night, February 19.

Despite a rotation on bars, Centenary did claim the top individual spot with sophomore Ashley White’s 9.475. Senior Noel Stubbs and White went 2-3 on vault with a 9.750 and a 9.675, respectively.

Freshman Navia Jordan placed second on the floor with a 9.600 total.

White placed second in the all-around with a 37.850. Senior Megan Desjardins, paced by finishing fourth on beam with a 9.200, took fourth in her first time competing on all four events (36.225).

Centenary will take more than a week off before returning to action at Texas Woman’s in an Midwest Independent Conference showdown next Saturday, February 27. First rotation is scheduled at 6 p.m.
