CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Centenary gymnastics fell on the road to Midwest Independent Conference-foe Southeast Missouri State on Saturday afternoon, March 5, 192.475-187.625.

Sophomore Ashley White claimed three, top-three finishes on the day, led by her 9.750 on bars to finish tied for third. White placed second on vault with a 9.575. Combined with a 9.525 on beam and a 9.675 on floor to finish fourth, White placed third in the all-around with a 38.525 total.

Freshman Tavia Smith took third in her first competition in the all-around with a 36.275.

Alexis Brawner paced the Redhawks with wins on vault (9.725), floor (9.800) and in the all-around (38.925). Lauren Israel captured bars with a 9.825, beam with a 9.775 and finished second in the all-around with a 38.750.

Centenary returns to action next Friday night, March 11, against Lindenwood. First rotation is scheduled for 6 p.m.
