Ladies Soccer Adds Jackson, Lovemore for 2016

SHREVEPORT, La. – Head Centenary women’s soccer coach David Orr is pleased to announce the addition of Olivia Jackson and Gabby Lovemore for the 2016 season.

“I am very excited to welcome these two student-athletes to the Ladies soccer family,” said Orr. “Both Olivia and Gabby are strong, athletic, and technically gifted. I am very excited about our recruiting class thus far for 2016.”

Olivia Jackson


5-7 / Forward/Midfield

Dallas, Texas / Woodrow Wilson HS


Olivia joins the Ladies soccer team after playing forward and midfield for Michael Horan and Stephanie Peel at Woodrow Wilson HS. For the Wildcats her senior season, Olivia captured Honorable Mention All-District. Also at Woodrow Wilson, she was a member of the National Honor Society.

The daughter of Larry and Amanda Jackson, she has one sister, Katherine. At Centenary, she intends to major in pre-med. Olivia also plays for the Division I Soccer for Solar Soccer Club

Coach Orr about Olivia: Olivia is a dynamic offensive player with a strong leg. I know she’ll make an immediate impact on our roster both in competition and in the locker room. Olivia is quite good tactically, as well, and she’ll bring an added dimension to our team’s attack.



Gabby Lovemore


5-0 / Forward/Midfield

Natchitoches, La. / Natchitoches Central HS


Gabby played forward for Rachel Monroe, Yanci Johnson, David Chesal and Rusty Stultz at Natchitoches Central HS. During her soccer career for the Chiefs, she received Second Team and First Team All-District honors. Beyond HS, she will play for the USA U19 squad in Austria in June for the United World Games tour. At Natchitoches Central, she was a member of the National Honor Society and NSHSS.

The daughter of Brian and Lorita Lovemore, she has three brothers: Ian, Nathan and Ryan. At Centenary, Gabby plans on majoring in neuroscience.

Coach Orr about Gabby: Gabby is another strong North Louisiana soccer player. She is aggressive, quick and an awesome addition to our squad.
