Gents Basketball Tickets for CenturyLink Game on December 17 go on Sale Thursday
Monday, December 12, 2016

SHREVEPORT, La. – Starting with the Gents basketball game with Pelican-State rival Louisiana College on Thursday, December 8, tickets will be available for purchase at Centenary for the 2017 Shreveport-Bossier Holiday Classic Basketball Showcase on Saturday, December 17, at the CenturyLink Center in Bossier City.

There are three different ticket prices available: 50 tickets each at $15 and $25, with 10 tickets available for $50, with a percentage of the proceeds going to the Gents basketball program. Tickets will be available for purchase at the concession stand for the Gents game with Louisiana College. Following the game, the tickets will be available at the Gold Dome Athletic Office weekdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For more information, please call Theresa Rinaudo at (318) 869-5067.

The Maroon and White kick off the basketball tripleheader, as the Gents take on Millsaps at 2 p.m. However, tickets purchased are good for all three contests. Stick around as Northwestern State will play ULM at 4:30 p.m., with Grambling State and Louisiana Tech playing the nightcap at 7 p.m.

It will be the second meeting this season between Centenary and Millsaps. On November 20 in Jackson, Mississippi, junior Dyllon Weaver scored a career best 21 points in the Gents 76-60 win. Come out and support the Maroon and White as they look for the season sweep against the Majors!

As a reminder, all Ladies and Gents basketball games in the Gold Dome are free for the 2016-17 season. It will be a special night when the Gents take on Louisiana College Thursday night. Before the game, Centenary athletics and the Wilhite family will announce the fourth annual Donny Wilhite Most Valuable Athlete Award.

Gents basketball will also recognize senior James Sapp at halftime. In the first game of the season, the 2014-15 Donny Wilhite Most Valuable Athlete Award winner became just the 32nd Gents basketball player to reach 1,000 points for his career. Currently, junior Travion Kirkendoll is just three points away from reaching that mark.
