Baylee Shephard
Volunteer Assistant Coach
2017-18 Softball Coaches

Baylee Shephard will begin her first season as a Volunteer Assistant Coach with Ladies Softball for the 2018 season.

Most recently, she served as a volunteer coach for St. Mary’s Catholic School and as an assistant coach with the Louisiana Titans 16U Gold Team.

Shephard graduated from Northwestern State with a business major and an English minor in December 2017. A four-year catcher for the Demons, she helped Northwestern State capture the 2015 Regular Season Southland Conference Championship and the 2014 Conference Tournament Championship and the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Prior to her time in Natchitoches, Louisiana, she played softball for Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport. She helped the Eagles to five District Championships and three State Championships. Individually, Shephard was named All-State four times. In 2013, she garnered the Shreveport Times Player of the Year, was the District MVP, was named to the All-Region First Team, and was named Second Team All-American.

Academically while at Evangel, Shephard gained National Fastpitch Coaches Association Scholar Athlete accolades.
