SHERMAN, Texas – With a chance to even its season series with the University of Dallas, Centenary looked to avenge a Sept. 21 loss, but the Ladies dropped another three-set contest Sunday, 25-15, 25-16, 25-15.

Centenary dropped to 0-19 and 0-5 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play, extending its losing streak to 20 matches dating back to last season, losing the season finale. Dallas completes the two-match sweep, both 3-0, improving to 13-10 and 2-4.

Centenary returns to the court Oct. 11, hosting its third of four tri-matches. The Ladies host Rust College at 4 p.m. and UT Tyler at 6 p.m. before the two visitors wrap up play at 8 o’clock.

Sarah Sumner led the Ladies with five kills in attacks Sunday, but committed three errors for a .111 hitting mark. Rachel Perkins followed closely with four kills.

Senior libero Jesi Wilcox topped the Ladies again with 18 digs while Brooke Bahlinger had 12, the only two Ladies in double figures.
