SHREVEPORT, La. – The Centenary volleyball team returns to the court on Wednesday, Sept. 11 as the Ladies travel to LeTourneau for non-conference action. The match is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Longview, Texas.

The Ladies dropped four outings at the UT-Tyler Invitational. Beth Nuttall finished the tournament with 84 assists while Sarah Irons paced the squad with 32 kills. Sarah Sumner led the defensive effort with 36 digs for the two-day event. Brooke Bahlinger ranked second on the squad in kills and digs with 29 and 34 respectively.

On the season, Irons leads the team in kills with 67 followed by Bahlinger with 53 and Sumner with 51. Nuttall has tallied 194 assists with Bahlinger leading the squad with 75 digs. Lindsey Long stands the team leader in blocks accounting for 13, including five solo blocks.

LETU enters its home opener sporting a 3-5 record overall and riding a two-game win streak into the match following wins over Victory University (3-2) and Huntingdon College (3-0).

Following the midweek contest, Centenary returns to action on Friday, Sept. 20 against Colorado College in Irving, Texas at 6 p.m.
