2016 Sophomore SeasonPlayed and started in all 31 matches and 102 sets... Led the conference with 0.61 aces per set (62 aces, fourth-most for a single-season in Ladies history)... Moved up to eighth in the career annals in service aces, tallying 105 through two seasons... Broke the 24-year old school record with 10 aces in the Ladies straight-set win against Texas College October 19... Also led the team with 344 digs (3.37  per set)... Finished second on the team in kills with 240 (2.35 per set)... Recorded a season-high 27 digs in the Ladies come-from-behind win against Dallas September 16... Managed a season-high 15 kills and added 20 digs in a five-set to Jarvis Christian September 6.

2015 Freshman Season – Played in 32 matches with 23 starts and 105 sets played… Led the team with 344 digs (3.28 per set)… Also led the team with 43 aces (ninth-most all-time in Ladies history for a single season) and third in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference with 0.41 aces per set… Tallied four double-doubles (kills-digs)… Managed a season-high 20 kills against Sul Ross State on September 5… Recorded 19 double-digit dig matches, including a season-high 25 digs at LeTourneau October 3… In her first collegiate match, recorded a season-high six aces against Jarvis Christian September 1… Also had six aces against Dillard September 12.

Prior to Centenary: Played volleyball at Rains HS for head coach Kim Talkington… Also competed in basketball, track and field and archery for the Wildcats… Named Player of the Year for District 14-4A and All-State Honorable Mention in 2014-2015… Named All-East Texas, First Team All-District and Academic All-District in 2013-2014 and 2014-2015… Helped the Wildcats volleyball team capture District, Bi-District and Area Championships in 2013-2014 with a Bi-District Championship in 2014-2015… Individually, named Academic All-District in basketball in 2012-2013 and 2013-2014, qualified for Districts throwing discus for track and field in 2014-2015 and was ranked 11th among Texas HS girls in 2014-2015 for archery, qualifying for State in 2015… Helped the Rains HS basketball team capture a Bi-District Championship in 2012-2013 and the track and field team take District and Area Championships in 2014-2015… Named a Rains HS Honors Graduate and was inducted in to the National Honor Society in 2015… On the A/B Honor Roll sophomore-senior years… Named basketball Academic All-District in 2012-2013, earning that honor as volleyball Academic All-District in 2013-2014 and 2014-2015.

Personal: Full name is Hailey Anne Lawson… Born March 27, 1997, in Conroe, Texas… Daughter of Sean and Aimee Lawson… Served as a Special Olympics Ambassador for four years at Rains County Special Olympics… Majoring in wildlife biology and photography at Centenary College.
