SHREVEPORT, LA. – Centenary College head women’s basketball coach Justin LeBlanc is pleased to announce the 2015-2016 schedule. It will be the first season for coach LeBlanc at the helm of the Ladies program.

Centenary will host the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament February 26-28, 2016. For their only regular season tournament, the Ladies welcome Southern Athletic Association (SAA) members Millsaps and Hendrix for the SCAC/SAA Challenge November 21-22.

 “I am so excited about the upcoming season,” said LeBlanc. “Our non-conference sets up nicely as we move into conference play and then the SCAC tournament. It is always great to be on your home court for the conference tournament, but we also have a classic at the Gold Dome that will provide a nice test in front of the home crowd in November.”

The Maroon and White kicks off the 2015-2016 campaign November 13 with a trip to Dallas Christian. Centenary opens the home slate November 17 against East Texas Baptist before the SCAC/SAA Challenge. The Ladies close November with a trip to Abilene, Texas, to battle McMurry on the 29th.

To begin December, Centenary travels to Jackson, Mississippi, for a pair of games against Millsaps (December 6) and Belhaven (December 7). After a visitto Keene, Texas, to play Southwest Adventist, Centenary finishes 2015 with a home game against Crowley Ridge (December 19) and an away contest at Hendrix (December 30).

The Maroon and White are back to action quickly in 2016, hosting Colorado College for games on January 2 and 3. The final 12 conference games are home-and-home tilts against the remaining six SCAC schools, starting with Schreiner on January 8.

Before the SCAC Tournament, the Ladies will host a final non-conference tilt with Dallas Christian on February 20.
