GERMANTOWN, Tenn. – Centenary Ladies golf sits second after a pair of rounds Monday, Oct. 17, with three players in the top-10 at “The Buc,” hosted by Christian Brothers University at the par-72 Germantown Country Club.

The Ladies improved in the afternoon round by seven strokes, finishing the two-round day with a 699 (+123), 61 strokes behind Lewis (638, +62). The Maroon and White leads Wheaton College by 28 strokes, host Christian Brothers University by 54 strokes, and 62 strokes ahead of Illinois College.

Sitting fifth after round one, sophomore Jessica Varner improved by five strokes to move up to fourth after the second round. She carded a 163 (+19) for the day, four strokes behind second and 11 behind the leader, Rachel Sweeney of Lewis.

Sophomore Taylor Adair fired rounds of 86 and 87 and is sixth with a day of +29 (173). Freshman Erin Rostro rounds out Centenary’s top-10 golfers by totaling a two-round score of 180 (+36).

Junior Toni Collaro sits 13th with a 183 (+39) while freshman Erin Bastien is 24th with a 204 total (+60).

Centenary concludes the final round of “The Buc” beginning at 9 a.m.
