Three Early Goals Seal Win for Ladies

PINEVILLE, La.-The Centenary women's soccer team remained perfect in ASC play when three goals sealed a 3-0 win for the Ladies on Thursday evening at Louisiana College.

The Ladies improve to 5-3 overall and 3-0 in conference play with the midweek win.

Centenary jumped on board early after just two minutes of play when junior Courtney Cleveland found the back of the net, assisted by junior Traci Lee.

The first half continued to be a strong one for the Ladies when senior Candace Rushing netted her third goal of the season at the 12-minute mark from junior Holden Penney.

Penney would then find Lee five minutes later for the Ladies' third goal of the game.

Centenary freshman goal keeper Brittaney Dunn recorded her fourth shutout of the year and improved to 5-3 overall. Dunn made three saves in goal

The Ladies dominated Louisiana College, outshooting them 16 to 9 and produced six corner kicks to LC's zero.
