SHREVEPORT, La. – The Centenary women’s soccer team looks to snap a two-game skid on Tuesday evening as the Ladies (2-5-1) host Texas College at 6 p.m. The match marks the final non-conference  contest of the campaign.

Amanda Atwell and Carly Slovensky tallied the two goals on the week for the Maroon and White coming in a 3-2 loss to LeTourneau on Tuesday evening at Mayo Field. Erica Coker was saddled with the decision in net at UD allowing both goals by the Crusaders. The freshman totaled 135 minutes of action for the Ladies and collected 10 saves in the two contests. Lauren Cullen suffered her first loss of the season in the contest against LETU allowing two goals paired with two saves in the second half.

Atwell is tied for eighth in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference with a three goals on the season leading the Ladies in the category. Madison Alexander sits just outside the SCAC leaders in assists with a team-leading two assists on the season. The duo has attempted 18 shots each on the season – ninth in the conference.

Freshman Erica Coker stands as one of the top goalkeepers in the SCAC. The Frisco, Texas, native ranks second in save percentage (82.5%), goals against average (1.02), third in minutes played (619:14) and fifth in saves (33).

Centenary returns to action on Friday, Sept. 27 as the Ladies travel to Trinity for a SCAC tilt. Match time is scheduled for 6 p.m.
