SHREVEPORT, La. – A pair of Carly Slovensky goals in the final minutes forced a 2-2 tie against Texas College. Centenary moves to 2-5-2 on the season while the Steers stand at 3-3-2.

Slovensky knotted the contest after Rebecca Rios gave TC a two-goal advantage at the 88:29 mark. The Ricmond, Texas, native’s first goal of the night came 16 seconds after Rios’ goal. The junior’s golden foot added the game-tying score 30 seconds later. The pair of goals places Slovensky second on the team in goals behind Amanda Atwell’s team-leading three goals.

Centenary fired a season-high 21 shots in the contest besting its previous mark of 20 at Wiley College. The Maroon and White placed nine shots on goal in the contest. Slovensky and Atwell combined to take 12 of the shots.
