LONGVIEW, Texas – The Ladies surrendered a pair of first half goals and could not recover as Centenary (2-1) fell to LeTourneau (3-0) 2-0 Tuesday night, Sept. 6, in Longview, Texas.

We recovered well in the second half, but could not grab the momentum. We’ll take a look at the film and make adjustments as we prepare for Austin College.”

Centenary put the pressure on LeTourneau early as sophomore Kati-Jayde Cunningham put a shot on goal but was repelled. Cunningham led the team by puttinh both shots on target. LeTourneau’s Kelli Sonnier in the 21st minute and Xanthe Sanchez in the 41st scored the goals for the YellowJackets.

Senior Ladies goalie Erica Coker fell to 2-1, allowing a pair of goals and grabbing six saves. Brittany Hollis improved to 3-0 in goal for LeTourneau, stopping all five shots faced.
