Ladies Swimming Announces Two More Athletes for the 2016-17 Season

SHREVPORT, La. – The Centenary Ladies swimming team announced on Monday, August 15, the addition of two student-athletes for the 2016-17 school year.


Jessi Jordan

Breaststroke and IM / 5-3

Dallas, Texas / Bishop Lynch HS


Jordan swam for head coach Michael Meagher at Bishop Lynch High School. In her time in the pool for the Friars, she qualified for State Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools four times in a pair of events, garnered First and Second Team and Honorable Mention All-State Texas Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association honors. Jordan also swam a leg of the 200-medley relay that holds the Bishop Lynch record. Academically, she appeared on the Honor Roll.

Daughter of Ronny and Velvet Jordan, she has one sister, Elli. At Centenary, she intends to major in biology.


Natenee Wallett

Breaststroke and IM / 5-7

Corpus Christi, Texas / Flour Bluff HS


 Wallett swam breaststroke for head coach Peter Fecht at Flour Bluff High School. She finished All-District and All-Region in 2013, 2015 and 2016 in the 100 breaststroke, earning All-State honors in the event in both 2013 and 2016. Wallett helped the Hornets finish as District Champions all four years of high school. She also earned academic honors all four years of high school while also winning four academic letters.

Wallett is the daughter of Michael and Prappa Wallett and has a sister, Ammarie and one brother, Alex. At Centenary, she intends to major in biology.
