Migui Boldrin and Kyra Montes are the Centenary Co-Athletes of the Week for Oct. 28. The two senior stars from the women’s soccer team combined for eight goals and four assists in three games last week, all victories for the Ladies. The dynamic duo has combined for 25 goals, 16 assists, and eight game-winning goals this season to form the most productive and potent duo in the conference.
The two are tied for first in the league in goals per game and Montes ranks first in points per game and assists per game, and second in assists and points. She is tied for third in goals and the two are tied for first with four game-winning goals each. Boldrin leads the SCAC in shots, shots per game, points, and goals, and is second in points per game.
Boldrin had four goals and an assist in the Ladies’ three games last week while Montes also had four goals and three assists. Boldrin had one goal and the game-winning assist in a 3-2 victory at Dallas last Friday and then scored a pair of goals on Sunday versus Austin College. Montes scored three goals in a 6-1 home victory over Louisiana College last Monday and then scored a goal and had an assist in the win over Austin College and had two assists in the victory over Dallas.
