Glen Rose , Texas – The Centenary women's golf team completed play in the Lady Crusader Fall Invitational hosted by the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor University on Tuesday.
The tournament was the first of its 2019-20 season as three Ladies participated as individuals. The two-day, 36-hole event was played on the par-72, 5,846-yard layout on the Comanche Links course at Squaw Valley Golf Course.
Senior Erin Rostro (Kyle, Texas) was the top finisher for the Ladies as she tied for 33rd place after shooting a 168 (81-87). Senior Shannon Orlopp (Rogers, Ark.) shot a career-low round of 81 on Tuesday to tie for 43rd place and shot a 175 for the tournament.
Sophomore Abigial Hayes (Plano, Texas) is tied for 52nd place place as she shot a 181 (91-90) for the Maroon and White. Southwestern University won the tournament after carding a 605 score. Southwestern's Madison Goldberg won individual medalist honors by six strokes after firing a 74-70=144.
