Bio
A former Centenary Gent baseball player (2012-15), Dustin Dalton begins his first year as an Assistant Pitching coach for the Maroon and White baseball team.
Dalton played baseball for four years at Centenary; however, two seasons were cut short due to an injury. After suffering a torn labrum during the end of his freshman season, Dustin took a medical redshirt his sophomore season. During his tenure with Gents, the baseball team finished first in the SCAC during the regular season in 2013. They won the SCAC Regular Season Championship his senior season.
Although this is his first year coaching, he brings several years of valuable experience to the program. He was coached by a former St. Louis Cardinals pitcher/ catcher at Holy Cross in New Orleans besides being coached by a two-time Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in his collegiate career.
Dustin graduated in May of 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. He is currently working to obtain a Master’s of Arts in teaching from Centenary.
