2018 Senior Season: Earned Third Team All-West Region recognition as a relief pitcher from D3Baseball.com... Named First Team All-Conference as a relief pitcher after finishing second with six saves and fourth with a 2.03 ERA in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference… The 2.03 ERA was the third best for a single season in Gents baseball history (non-scholarship era)… Six saves were the third most in a single season (non-scholarship era)… In conference play, went 5-1 with three saves in 11 appearances and two starts and a 1.40 ERA in 45 innings of work… In the final game of the regular season, earned a save in the SCAC Regular Season Championship-clinching win, allowing just three hits in five innings of work against top-ranked Trinity April 29… Led the team with two complete games… Named SCAC Pitcher of the Week following the Trinity win April 29 and following the Southwestern series April 5-7, allowing just one hit and striking out seven with a win and a save in six innings of work… Also batted .197 for the season with 25 runs, 13 RBIs and three doubles… Only home run of the season came in a 3-for-4 effort with two runs scored and three RBIs in the 11-10 loss at Cal Lutheran March 11… Finished his career in the Gents record books (non-scholarship era, as of the end of 2018) first in putouts (1,350), second in saves (14), third in sacrifice hits (13), sacrifice flies (10), and ERA (2.89), fourth in runs (112), hit by pitch (23) and shutouts (one), fifth in total bases (201), hits (143), strikeouts (107), RBIs (92), walks (51), wins (11), and triples (five), seventh in innings pitched (134.0), home runs (seven) and complete games (three), eighth in doubles (27), and stolen bases (24), and ninth in assists (102).
2017 Junior Season: Named First Team All-West Region by D3Baseball.com and Third Team by the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings... Named Second Team All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference as both a first baseman and relief pitcher... Led the SCAC and finished 14th in the nation with eight saves... Ranked 28th in the nation in strikeout-to-walk ration (6.75) and 47th in walks allowed per nine innings (6.75)... Went 4-2 with a 3.58 ERA in 60.1 innings pitched... Made 20 appearances and had two starts, including a complete-game win in the second game of a doubleheader against Texas Lutheran April 8, a Gents 7-4 win... At nationally-ranked UT Tyler March 21, threw 6.1 innings in relief, allowing eight hits and just one run with seven strikeouts to pick up the win in a 6-5, come-from-behind victory... Started either as a pitcher or at first base all 45 games of the season... hit a traditional and an inside-the-park home run in back-to-back innings in a Gents 15-2 win against Rust in the first game of a double header February 24... Finished the season with 47 hits, 37 runs, 29 RBIs, nine doubles, two triples, and four home runs.
2016 Sophomore Season: Started all 39 games... Batted .247 with 37 hits in 150 at-bats... drove in 35 and scored 32 runs... Finished second on the team with 10 doubles... Led the team with 352 putouts... Made six appearances on the mound for a total of seven innings, going 1-0 with a 5.14 ERA, allowing nine hits and five runs (four earned)... Had a season-high three hits in five at-bats with a run scored and two RBI’s in a 7-3 win against Southwestern April 9... Picked up his lone win by throwing two innings, allowing two hits and one unearned run in a 13-12, extra-inning win at Southwestern February 20... Named the Centenary baseball representative on the SCAC All-Sportsmanship.
2015 Freshman Season: Started all 41 games at first base and committed no errors… hit .243 with 15 RBI’s… was 2-3 with two RBI’s in the SCAC Conference Tournament opening game against Southwestern.
Prior to Centenary: Pitched and played first base for Sulphur HS.
