2020 Junior Season: Played in 11 games and hit .217 with a .308 on-base percentage and a .217 slugging percentage … Had five hits in 23 at-bats with a pair of RBI and four runs scored … Made six appearances on the mound and went 1-1 with a 6.75 ERA ... Allowed 10 runs, nine earned, and eight hits with three walks and three strikeouts ... Named to the Spring 2020 SCAC Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll.

2019 Sophomore Season: Was the top pitcher on the Centenary staff as a sophomore as he made 22 appearances and led the Gents in innings pitched (54), wins (5), ERA (3.17) and saves (4) ... Allowed 21 runs, 19 earned, on 39 hits with 31 walks and 25 strikeouts ... Longest outing of the season was 6.2 innings pitched against Texas Lutheran at home on April 14 ... Had a season-best four strikeouts in a game twice, March 9 at Redlands and March 29 at Trinity ... All four saves came in the Gents' final 11 games of the season .... Saved all three games in Centenary's home series against SCAC foe Schreiner April 5-6 ... Named Second Team All-SCAC after finishing the season fourth in the conference in both ERA and saves.

The Centenary baseball team finished off its five-game road trip to California on Sunday with a 10-7 non-conference victory over the University of La Verne Leopards in eight innings at Ben Hines Field. The Gents (9-4) finished 2-3 overall on the week-long trip and will next face Louisiana College again in a makeup game on Monday, March 9 in Pineville.

Baseball Splits Doubleheader At Whittier On Saturday

The Centenary baseball team split a non-conference doubleheader on Saturday versus the Whittier College Poets at Hugh B. Mendez Stadium. The Gents (8-4) are 1-3 so far on their five game road trip in California and look to finish strong on Sunday as they finish up the trip versus the University of La Verne at 1 p.m. central (11 a.m. local). Centenary took game on by a score of 13-6 and then Whittier (3-8) responded with a walk-off 8-7 win in game two.

Baseball Earns Walk-Off Win Versus Edgewood On Friday

The Centenary baseball team opened play in the Millsaps Invitational on Friday afternoon with a 6-5 walk-off victory over the Edgewood College Eagles at Twenty Field. The Gents (5-1) were down 5-4 entering the ninth inning and scored the tying run on a wild pitch with one out and then a sacrifice fly by junior Peyton Cormane (Pineville, La.) scored redshirt freshman Ben Bridges (Beckville, Texas) with the winning run.

Baseball Remains Perfect After Saturday Sweep Of ETBU

The Centenary baseball team swept a non-conference doubleheader from the East Texas Baptist University Tigers on Saturday by scores of 7-0 and 12-5 at Shehee Stadium. The Gents (3-0) opened their season on Friday with a 5-3 victory over ETBU in Marshall. Centenary has now won 10 of the last 14 matchups between the two teams.
