2020 Junior Season: Went 2-0 with a 3.27 ERA ... Made five appearances and two starts ... Allowed 11 runs, four earned, in 11 innings pitched ... Walked three and strusk out four ... Picked up first win of the season in game two of a home doubleheader against ETBU on Feb. 8 as he allowed three runs, none earned, and five hits in 6.2 innings pitched with no walks and four strikeouts ... Other win was against Edgewood on Feb. 21 as he got the final two outs to secure a 6-5 Gents win ... Named to the Spring 2020 SCAC Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll.

The Centenary baseball team finished off its five-game road trip to California on Sunday with a 10-7 non-conference victory over the University of La Verne Leopards in eight innings at Ben Hines Field. The Gents (9-4) finished 2-3 overall on the week-long trip and will next face Louisiana College again in a makeup game on Monday, March 9 in Pineville.

Baseball Earns Walk-Off Win Versus Edgewood On Friday

The Centenary baseball team opened play in the Millsaps Invitational on Friday afternoon with a 6-5 walk-off victory over the Edgewood College Eagles at Twenty Field. The Gents (5-1) were down 5-4 entering the ninth inning and scored the tying run on a wild pitch with one out and then a sacrifice fly by junior Peyton Cormane (Pineville, La.) scored redshirt freshman Ben Bridges (Beckville, Texas) with the winning run.

Baseball Remains Perfect After Saturday Sweep Of ETBU

The Centenary baseball team swept a non-conference doubleheader from the East Texas Baptist University Tigers on Saturday by scores of 7-0 and 12-5 at Shehee Stadium. The Gents (3-0) opened their season on Friday with a 5-3 victory over ETBU in Marshall. Centenary has now won 10 of the last 14 matchups between the two teams.
