Centenary Holds Off Southwestern in SCAC Baseball Tournament Opening Round

Second-seeded Centenary got 7.1 strong innings from Cody Myers and the Gents held off third-seeded Southwestern, 6-4, in opening round play of the 2024 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Baseball Championship Friday evening at La Moderna Field.

Sophomore LHP Cody Myers (Friendswood, Texas) tied his career high with 13 strikeouts as he helped lead the Centenary baseball team to a 4-2 victory over the University of St. Thomas Celts in the opener of a three-game Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference weekend series at Constellation Field.
