Cheer Selected as "Team of the Week"
The Centenary Cheer team has been selected as Centenary Athletics' "Team of the Week" after they helped lead a busy and spirited Homecoming Week on the Centenary campus.
Shreveport- The Centenary Cheer team has been selected as Centenary Athletics' "Team of the Week" after they helped lead a busy and spirited Homecoming Week on the Centenary campus.
The Cheer team, lead by head coach Kaylee King and assistant coach Destiny Duhon, performed multiple times on campus for Homecoming events, at the annual Maroon Madness event showcasing the basketball and gymnastics programs, and the football game on Oct. 25 against McMurry University at Atkins Field.
Cheer has been extremely busy this Fall as they performed at the 49th Annual Red River Revel and for the residents at The Glen Retirement Community in a pep rally style performance last month.
